Here are some ergonomic tips:
- Make sure your feet can reach the floor. If they don’t you slide forward in the chair and round your lumbar spine.
- Use a foot stool if necessary.
- Sit as far back in your chair as possible. When you sit your butt should hit the back of the chair.
- Use a towel rolled vertically between your shoulder blades to support your mid-back.
- Separate your keyboard, mouse and screen to allow your arms to rest by your side with elbows bent to 90 degrees while your monitor is at eye level.
- Use a wrist guard to prevent carpal tunnel.
